The Election Commission of Pakistan is determined to hold the general elections in order to facilitate the peaceful transfer of power amid security concerns throughout the nation. The influence of cricket players can boost voter turnout on election day and they can undoubtedly play a crucial role in drawing the public towards polling stations.
The people of Pakistan will be hoping that the new administration works in harmony with the state for successful legislation and economic prosperity. The 2024 elections are less than a day away and will determine the fate of the country during the next five years.
While both of the fast bowlers have participated in 286 international matches, Mohammad Amir has also won the ICC Champions Trophy in 2017 and the ICC T20I World Cup in 2009.
Voting was also encouraged by Wasim Akram, arguably the best left-arm pacer of all time.
