Season nine will begin with Lahore Qalandars taking on Islamabad United.
The PCB headquarters Lahore will host the opening game of the ninth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), which is scheduled to begin on February 17, 2024. The game sets Lahore Qalandars, the current champions and two-time champions, against Islamabad United, the winners of the 2016 and 2018 editions.
This Prestigious cricket competition will take place in four cities: Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi. It will come to an end on March 18 at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi with a final consist of 34 Twenty20 matches between six teams.
There will be eleven matches in Karachi during the tournament, which consists of the Qualifier, two Eliminators, and the Final. Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi will each host nine matches, while the city of saints, Multan, will host five matches.

Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings are playing two highly anticipated matches on February 24 and March 9. The match on February 24 will take place at Gaddafi Stadium, while the match on March 9 will take place at National Bank Stadium.
Quetta Gladiators, on the other hand, will play three matches each in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi, with one match at Multan Cricket Stadium against the home side Sultans on February 25. Teams like Kings, Qalandars, Sultans, and United will play five matches at their respective home grounds, while Peshawar Zalmi will play four matches at Pindi Cricket Stadium.
The forthcoming ninth PSL edition, like the previous one, will be played in two legs. A total of 14 matches will be played from February 17 to 27 at Multan Cricket Stadium and Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
