For PKR 1.875 billion, BSports and Walee have recaptured the digital broadcast rights for the PSL 9–10.

BSports and Walee have teamed up to obtain exclusive live streaming rights for the next Pakistan Super League (PSL) Seasons 9 and 10, with a substantial expenditure of PKR 1.875 billion. This is a noteworthy achievement that is the result of a strategic partnership with Walee, Pakistan's leading Creator-Tech platform.

In the midst of strong competition from industry leaders like Ten Sports, ARY, HUM TV, GEO, Daraz, Tamasha, Myco, and Trans Group, the collaborative victory of BSports and Walee stands as a clear testament to their growing significance in the live streaming domain. In addition, Walee is making a significant entry into the PSL broadcasting rights market with this strategic alliance.

Working together, BSports and Walee hope to enhance and change the digital viewing experience for over 130 million Pakistanis across a range of digital platforms. BSports's track record of success along with Walee's unique background in the Creator Economy and numerous partnerships with over 150,000 Pakistani influencers put them in a unique position to welcome a new era of incomparable live cricket viewership and content streaming for cricket enthusiasts!

Due to the growing trend of watching live internet cricket, consumers as well as participating brands and advertisers gain from this relationship. Advertisers benefit from a significant increase in audience engagement and accurate data insights at a more cost-effective rate than with traditional mediums.

"It is an honor and a privilege to be trusted with leading Pakistan's top sports entertainment brand. BSports and Walee aim to break new records for live viewership on digital platforms in Pakistan, and I would not be shocked if we surpass TV audience this time around.

With PSL 9 and 10, we look forward to creating a win-win for all major digital broadcasters in Pakistan. Regaining these rights from our Chinese competitors was a difficult ask, but it is safe to say that PSL Digital broadcast is back in the hands of 100% homegrown Pakistani Brands with a bang". – Zohaib Hisam, CDO, BSports

Ahsan Tahir, Co-founder & CEO of Walee, the largest creator economy ecosystem in the MENAPT region, said, "A major accomplishment for Walee, we are pleased to announce the winning of our bid for the Live Streaming Media Rights for PSL Seasons 9 and 10. As we embark on this exciting journey, our goal is to elevate the PSL digital experience to unprecedented heights." The size of this investment is made possible by patriotic, data-literate advertisers who recognize Walee as the only platform boasting the highest trust media touchpoints, appealing to both Gen Z and Gen Alpha customer segments.
