Peshawar Zalmi expressed serious worries on Friday about the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 9 schedule.
According to the sources, Peshawar Zalmi expressed its worries, highlighting that the basic idea behind holding PSL 9 matches in Peshawar was not properly taken into consideration.
The franchise expressed regret that they were not informed before the schedule was released, nor were they engaged in the scheduling process.
The Zalmi management expressed disappointment, stating that the team's allocation of only four matches in Rawalpindi and one match in Karachi was insufficient to meet their expectations.
To provide more context, the management stated that Peshawar Zalmi had formally sought to host total of five matches near Peshawar at the Rawalpindi location prior to the schedule's the announcement.
Aside from that, the franchise had pushed for three games to be held in Karachi due to the city's strong fan base.
