Honda Canada has released a preview of the 2025 Civic Hybrid sedan, which is scheduled to go into production in Alliston, Ontario, this spring. The images show the Sport Touring model; it is unclear if this will be the only trim level offered in Canada, but noticeably, the Canadian model looks more sporty than the European model. The 2024 Montreal Auto Show is quickly approaching.
Its unique front honeycomb mesh grille and restyled lower bumper add to its aggressive and unique look. The sides sport unique alloy wheels and black mirror caps similar to the gas-powered Civic Sport. The rear end is essentially the same with the exception of model-specific badges.
The Civic Hybrid will be produced primarily at the Alliston factory, which is positioned to account for more than 40% of all Civic sales in North America, despite the lack of interior images. Expectations are that it will resemble the standard Civic with some minor modifications.

The Alliston plant will begin producing the 2025 Civic Hybrid sedan in the spring, while the Greensburg, Indiana plant will produce the Civic Hatchback Hybrid a few weeks later. Both sites are now in charge of producing the CR-V Hybrid.
In 2022, Honda Canada announced a significant investment to upgrade its Alliston facilities for high-volume hybrid production. The Civic Hybrid will feature Honda's two-motor hybrid system, delivering a combined 204 horsepower and 247 lb-ft of torque. It aims to compete favorably with the Toyota Corolla Hybrid and Hyundai Elantra Hybrid in terms of efficiency, though pricing may be on the higher side.
