In Tehsil Mamond, Bajaur, a huge blast near a police truck killed five officials and injured more then ten people.

The incident occurred near the Belot Farsh police car, when the officers were on their duty to provide security for an anti-polio campaign.

The injured were quickly transported to Khar Hospital, and the area has been placed under lockdown as security forces launch an operation to arrest the attackers and their partners.
