Starting at $249, Xiaomi Launched the Poco X6 series.

Xiaomi's most recent Poco phones, the Poco X6 and X6 Pro, have just been made official in India. Both phones are rebranded versions of earlier releases with marginally changed specs; the Poco X6 Pro looks to be a Redmi Note 13 Pro with a different design.

The Poco X6 Pro sets itself apart from the Redmi K70E by using MediaTek's top-tier Dimensity 8300 Ultra processor, which offers consumers a power-efficiency balance albeit at a little slower rate of 67W compared to the K70E's remarkable 90W charging speeds.

The Poco X6 comes in two variants, each with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that has a resolution of 1,220 x 2,712px, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a maximum brightness of 1,800 nits. Additionally, both variants have a 16MP front-facing camera that is situated inside a punch-hole cutout and a convenient in-display fingerprint scanner—a first for Poco smartphones.

The 64MP primary camera on the Poco X6 models is the main camera in the configuration; it has a 2x lossless in-sensor zoom capability that is further strengthened by Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). An 8MP ultrawide module and a 2MP macro lens round out the camera system.

Software-wise, the Poco X6 Pro is powered by Xiaomi's HyperOS, which is based on Android 14. On the other hand, the Poco X6 ships with the older MIUI 14, but Poco has confirmed that an update to HyperOS is on the way. Additionally, Poco promises to provide both X6 variants with four years of security patches and three Android updates, guaranteeing long-term usability and security.
