A 6.0-magnitude earthquake hits Guatemala, El Salvador.

Al Arabiya News reported late Friday that an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 hit Guatemala's southern Pacific coast, citing the nation's seismological organization, INSIVUMEH. The 119-kilometer depth at where the earthquake was detected. 

The same earthquake that hit Guatemala's Escuintla region also jolted El Salvador, a neighboring country.

There have been no recent reports of casualties or damage.

The German Research Centre for Geosciences measured the earthquake's depth as 119 kilometers (73.9 miles) and its magnitude at 6.1.
